Rock the Block #3 – Pontiac

8:30am – 3:30pm

Uniting homeowners, volunteers, community/corporate sponsors and staff, Rock the Block is part of Habitat Oakland’s neighborhood revitalization efforts, bringing immediate and visible change to multi-block areas.

Volunteers work with Habitat’s construction staff to perform:

Yard clean-up (including leaf removal)
Trash removal
Limited branch trimming
Hedge trimming
Lawn mowing
Edging

Rock the Block aims to ensure that homeowners reside in safe and appealing environments. The program not only contributes to the enhancement of home values but also plays a crucial role in fostering neighborhood stability. No experience necessary, opportunity to learn new skills!
