ReStores of Oakland County will accept and pick-up recently recalled Samsung top load washers from residences and retailers. All donations are tax-deductible.
Samsung Electronics America, in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), announced a voluntary recall of certain top-load washers manufactured between March 2011 and current production dates due to their inability to handle extremely heavy loads.
All washers will then be resold at our ReStores of Oakland County locations in Farmington Hills and Pontiac with full disclosure of the recall and a disclaimer regarding the machine’s washing capacity. Profits from ReStores of Oakland County will help fund the mission of Habitat for Humanity of Oakland County.
