Rock the Block – Southfield

Evergreen Park Neighborhood

September 18th & 19th and September 21st & 22nd, 2023

8:30am – 3:30pm

Bringing together homeowners, volunteers, community/corporate sponsors and staff, Rock the Block is part of Habitat for Humanity of Oakland County’s neighborhood revitalization efforts, offering minor exterior home repairs to homeowners at a modest price.

Volunteers work with Habitat’s construction staff to:

• Repair porches and/or fences
• Repair cracked concrete
• Clean gutters
• Complete yard clean-up

This program ensures that homeowners reside in safe housing, enables seniors to age-in-place, maintains and increases home values, and fosters neighborhood stability. No experience necessary, opportunity to learn new skills.
