Every year\, volunteers mobilize to complete neighborhood beautification activities\, such as picking up trash\, cleaning sidewalks\, and making basic improvements along the street. \n\n\n\nThe event was founded by Micah 6 Community\, and this year\, Habitat Oakland is excited to join the initiative to showcase a collaborative spirit to advance complementary missions. Micah 6 Community and Habitat Oakland both participate in the Beloved Community Coalition\, which is grounded in the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King\, Jr.\, and seeks to build a communal table where nonprofits can share their needs and resources to create more diverse and inclusive volunteer opportunities. \n\n\n\nSnacks and water will be provided\, but feel free to bring gloves\, rakes\, or flathead shovels. \n\n\n\nYou can register to volunteer on Habitat’s volunteer database\, available at the bottom of this page. \n\n\n\nWe look forward to seeing you there!
